Specialist Services Team Lead
Trish has been with My CWA for almost 3 years and currently serves as the Specialist Services Team Lead. In this role, she manages a team of four keyworkers, overseeing the allocation of clients and providing direct support to individuals recovering from or fleeing domestic abuse. She also handles a personal caseload, ensuring tailored support for each client.
Before this position, Trish was the Amplified Voice Lead, where she acted as the clients' advocate with external agencies across Cheshire East. Her role involved addressing issues related to housing, social care, and the police, and facilitating weekly Peer Support lounges for victims of domestic abuse. These sessions provided a safe space for discussing various topics and engaging with guest speakers from relevant agencies.
Trish holds a Higher Diploma and has completed RYPP and DA Matters train-the-trainer courses. Trish is currently completing an Operations Management level 5 apprenticeship. Her previous experience includes a 16-year tenure as a Police Constable and roles as a Prison Officer in both male and female prisons, where she supported victims of domestic abuse and managed safeguarding risks.
